Aaron is a sledge man.
His daily transport to work at an uptown accountancy practice is upon a skateboard powered by Tesla’s technology.
At other times his huge Husky dog, Bruno, tows him through harsh winter forests.
Another recreational pursuit he enjoys when Bruno is not dragging him through Bottle Lake Plantation in competition to determine whether man or man's-best-friend is master, is exploring the trails of Adventure Park on his mountain bike.
Aaron requires good balance for all his pursuits and appears to have achieved such right across his life.
He got Bruno as a puppy and though it is his first dog he has mostly trained Bruno himself. He does concede however that Bruno has also trained Aaron - trained him to be patient.
Perhaps encouraged by his success with Bruno, Aaron grasped the project management of building his first house. This was going well until supply chains froze and products became Covid scarce. He is happy to relate that building is now back underway.
A member of Sunrise Toastmasters for 4 years, Aaron’s used the structured learning system and willing audience to rehearse educational business presentations that he and his audiences have all benefited from.
Aarons presentation style is often a well-balanced mixture of information and humour while making good use of visual aids such as a whiteboard.
Of course, he always welcomes Toastmaster feedback to further enhance his business presentations.
Aaron came to Sunrise Toastmasters 4 years ago because he wanted to become confident at public speaking. These days he is able to simply just stand up, talk and hold the audience’s attention.
You too can become a confident public speaker by making use of the Toastmaster Pathways to confidence and leadership.
