This morning's strong turnout was greeted with twinkle in Victor's eye as he led our meeting in strange and new directions.
From the tick of 7.00, audience members were called upon to bring their perspectives to the lecturn. Marg led off and soon the meeting was smokin', as one toastmaster after another rose to carry a story of travel and sickness through various iterations down a not particularly straight road to Queenstown.
Many members found themselves with 2 speaking opportunities, as Table Topics Master Sean later called us to search memories and add to the days variety.
We were lucky to be visited by our friends Scotty and Jesse who each added ingredients to the meeting’s overall flavour-filled success.
Scheduled speakers Robyn and Gerard extended our knowledge in surprising ways, with Whale Pumps, and Horst Wessel similarities.
A thoroughly entertaining meeting, smoothly administered by Victor and made possible by Sunrise members’ talents.
